Messi wins Ballon D `Or Winner

Argentina's Lionel Messi win the Ballon D `Or the second year in a row, on Monday local time, after beating other favorites Andres Iniesta and Xavi.

The 23-year-old who became the first player to go back and forth to win the award since Marco van Basten in 1988/89 - was expected to exit after failing to score in which Argentina was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the World Cup.


Messi won by winning 22.65 percent of the vote, while Iniesta 17.36 percent, and Xavi in the third position with 16.48 percent of the vote.

Massey admitted that he really wanted to improve the record with Argentina, where he has never won a single gelarpun.

"In 2011, I wanted to win my first title with the national team," he said.

"It's an award that I wanted to give to all the people of Argentina," he added.
